How long does it last?
Hyaluronic acid fillers, the ones we use most for lips, last up to a year. Our biostimulators last three to five years; Radiesse is the one we use most.
What should I do before and after?
Come as you are, with a list of everything you take regularly; some supplements and medications matter here more than people expect. Afterward: redness, swelling, bruising and tenderness are common and usually settle in a few days, a week at most. Keep your hands off the area for six hours. Skip alcohol for 24 hours, and strenuous exercise, saunas and hot tubs for 48. Avoid aspirin and other anti-inflammatories for five days; a cold compress and Tylenol ease soreness, and we send you home with an ice pack. Wear SPF, cleanse gently, and book no other face treatments for two weeks. After a biostimulator, we teach you the massage for the area we treated.
